FLAT CUT

3D BUILT UP LETTERS

SOLID CUT

Flat-cut lettering is a type of signage made from individual solid letters cut from a flat sheet of material such as acrylic, PVC, aluminium, stainless steel, or other sheet materials. Each element is cut to the exact shape of the required design, providing a clean and professional finish. These can be customised with different colours, finishes, and fonts to create unique results. Flat-cut letters can be mounted flush with walls, doors, shopfronts, reception areas, and signage panels.

3D built-up letters can be either hollow-back or filled-back and are cut from a flat sheet of stainless steel, aluminium, or made from acrylic, with the design faces laser-cut. The returns (sides) and face are welded/ attached to form the design and the desired depth. Filled Back Built-Up Letters are a form of non-illuminated signage with the inside of the letters/designs enclosed, with the back sealed/ filled with a PVC, Acrylic, or Metal backing with pre-drilled holes for installation. Hollow Back Built-Up Letters are a form of non-illuminated signage with the inside of the letters/designs left hollow. This is common for lightweight, non-illuminated letters.
Solid Cut Letters are fabricated from aluminium, acrylic, PVC & stainless-steel. They are CNC or laser-cut directly from flat aluminium, acrylic, or stainless-steel sheet. They are non-illuminated and are available in a wide range of colours, finishes and thicknesses to provide a clean, professional and 3D appearance. Aluminium is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and available in painted, anodized, or brushed finishes. Acrylic offers opaque, translucent, transparent, frosted, fluorescent, mirrored, and specialty colours. Stainless steel provides superior strength and premium brushed, polished, or decorative finishes. Letters can be flush-mounted or installed on spacers using studs, concealed fasteners, or templates.
